Top Film & Television Apps on Android in Latin America: Q1 2025

In the first quarter of 2025, the film and television app market on Android in Latin America saw notable trends. Here's a look at the top five apps based on data from Sensor Tower.

Disney+ experienced a steady increase in weekly revenue, peaking at approximately $1.6M in early March. Downloads surged in early March as well, reaching around 728K, while active users grew from 14.8M to over 16M by the end of the quarter.

HBO Max: Stream TV & Movies maintained consistent revenue, peaking at $1.1M in early March. Weekly downloads reached a high of nearly 598K at the same time. Active users increased significantly to around 12.1M by the beginning of March.

Crunchyroll saw revenue peak at about $635K in late February. Downloads were highest at 360K during the same period, and active users reached 9.2M by the end of March.

Globoplay: Novelas, séries e + observed revenue growth, peaking at $442K in mid-February. Downloads reached 229K in mid-January, while active users peaked at 15M in early March.

Prime Video had a revenue high of $357K in early March. Downloads peaked at 515K during the same week, and active users saw a slight increase to 9.9M by early March.
